Arrrggh! I have successfully used SEUS twice before to upgrade my k700 but now it is constantly saying "no syncstation found"!

Have tried the following:

Reinstalled syncstation drivers
Reinstalled J2RE
Reinstalled update service software
Tried in both IE and firefox
Tried enabling and disabling the port in Phone Monitor (it's on COM4)

FMA sees the phone fine but not SEUS why

Can someone who has upgraded to R2AY004 using SEUS check the code memo function to see if it is working. I have heard rumours that this release introduces a bug on this.

Im actually having some problems with my phone at the moment. Twice today it has turned it self off while im trying to access the "tools"(not sure if it is correct, but its where the calculator is and such). And i have the lastest firmware R2AY004.

Someone else have had the poweroff problem??

can someone who has an orange K700i send or pm me the two (r2ay) files in the C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\software-data folder please as seus wont let me update.

I have just had the same problem with my orange k700i. I think this normal happens when se are updating the servers that do the main updates.

It will prob be next week now when the update is done?

Oh well. ive waited this long a few more days isnt going to hurt

just finished updating my o2 branded k700i thru SEUS a while ago...

R2AY004
cda 102298/18 r24a


code memo function works fine

no power off problems so far (keeping my fingers crossed )

Just upgraded my sim free phone to R2AY004 and it worked really well. Make sure you backup before performing this as one or two of my saved photo's got corrupted in the update (it could have been because they were attached to the phone book...but not entirely sure).

Hi! I was wandering... Have U found any bugs yet on R2AY004? What's diferent and are the menues any faster(scroling thru pictures, taking photos)... Cause I intend do get it next week, and i wanna get sure that is wort upgradeing from R2AE. Thanx.
