WhiteMagic™ technology, the light can also be filtered through the white sub pixel, to represent a true white. WhiteMagic™ technology will significantly increase display brightness compared to normal LCD and OLED screens. In this way, WhiteMagic technology can be used to double the brightness or to save up to 50% of the backlight power based on user’s preference and surrounding light. By making the display brighter, it also brings out details in images and video content. Sony’s Triluminos technology utilises quantum dots to enhance the RGB LED backlighting.
WhiteMagic + Triluminos + IGZO + X-Reality = Superb screen....btw no rumor use whitemagic...

MSM8960? iPA think that's quad core and comparable to s600. They are still as stupid as I can remember. Seems like Samsung are yet to figure out the art of a waterproof phone which doesn't melt with a relatively small amount if heat, or have they? Last time I checked, a 1.5gHz MSM8960 would get pretty hot, at 1.9gHz, there will be a LOT of throttling.
No wonder they underbid Sony. The s4 active is a mid-ender.
No No. PA got it wrong, as usual. MSM8960 is the board name for all S4 krait chips. So the chip in the S4 active is APQ8064T 1.9ghz S600 not MSM8960 like in SP

4.2.2 is on schedule for mid-June if everything goes according to plan.
No word on what features it brings yet, but I was told it is quite a big update and it improves the camera and video quality even more than the 253 update which just rolled out.
from zomg...so sony soon mean 3 months after global release....

Galaxy s4 active is a fail... dual core processor in a flagship is never acceptable especially as it's going to compete with i1 and xz !!!
Samsung WAS, IS and WILL always be a sh*t!!!

S4 Active has Snapdragon S600 Quad 1.9ghz, not dual core. As I mentioned, MSM8960 is just boardname not CPU. S4 also has same MSM8960 board name, and so do XZ, XZL,XZR,XSP,HTC One, Butterfly, Oppo Find 5 etc
