I dont have the setup for nfs5

govi- dont reinstall it directly. first uninstall it properly, then download a utility called regseeker. run that utility, search a specific keyword related to nfs5 and delete the related entries (be carefull while deleting). restart ur comp. reinstall it again

It just hangs. I cant access menu's. Alt+tab does not work. Only option reset using the button.

@ vin , he doesn't have to do all that. Just reinstall the game in a different drive and a different folder name.

Well this is the easiest way out
but why to waste ur disk space by doing that, also it will create complications in his registry, and it is NOT the proper way for reinstalling any application on ur comp.

Yes. Have the two installation cd's of nfs8. Vin, will you pls look at mobile free zone at my pc help thread and say what you think of the pictures?

Vin - it won't cause complications in the registry coz its in a diff drive and name. i've done it loads of times and later i use reg-cleaner which is better than regseeker because it finds all registry problems only and leaves the proper ones as it is. So no risk of deleting wrong reg files like in regseeker . And he can uninstall the other game later.
