We could Google translate it, or, you know, just find it on the English site.

This display won't be used in Honami !

Which is a great thing because this panel is severely disappointing. It's basically exact same as what Sony currently uses and the PixelEyes tech is already used in Z, ZL,ZR, UL by Sony. So nothing new there as well.

And as before, these have poor viewing angles. The official site itself mentions 160 degree viewing angles with contrast loss of almost 10 times than head on (>100:1)

Whereas IPS/ VA have 178 degree viewing angle with very little contrast loss.

JDI is one of htc One's panel suppliers and htc One's display has 1600:1 contrast ratio but this display is just 1000:1 I think Xperia ZL even has contrast ratio above 1100:1.

Well that's good to hear! But I hope it's as good as the HTC One's display. It looks amazing. It's like everything is almost painted on. I found this post about it and the S4's: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2268937

WTF? How did JDI's LCD panel get worse? What happened to their 5" 1080p prototype with 438ppi, 2000:1 CR, WhiteMagic RGBW, new IPS technology?

Isn't it Sony decided to use 2nd grade screen? it just pop in my head...

In 2012, HTC One X was buy screen from Sony and receive for some biggest praises in a year.
Although, TX was a good screen but came too late and only Asia limited market.

In 2013, is it too coincident to happen in same vicious loop?
