Should have said, K800 is not HSDPA capable and hence only for non-HSDPA 3G markets. K790 is the one that will be sold in US (K800 is not listed on the SE US WEB).

Hi, I have 2 problem with W800:
1. Can anyone tell me how I can backup my sms?
2. And how I can copy & paste text in sms editor?

Actually, there is one mention (at the back and it's only the specs). I asked in store today and was told that we are in a cross-over period where the device is due this month but not until the end of the month so they don't want to advertise it as coming soon or in stock as they have done previously with other models which are subsequently delayed. Sounds like nonsense to me!

Thanks DVS. As you say it does not make sense to drop it from "What's coming soon" if it is coming soon.... Let's see if the P990 suffers the same fate next month.

No kidding? But that last sentence reminds me that America just HAS to be different, I guess then HSDPA phones will be different, AGAIN, for the US and the rest of the world....

You won't get any argument from me on that! Last year I got a European Moto (E1000) which has UMTS, and tried to use it on the then available AT&T UMTS network (we were testing it with PC-cards before Cingular shut it down). Even then, At&T was using a different frequency - 1900Mhz vs 2100mhz which is what Europe uses for their UMTS... Needless to say I was pissed, but patient since I knew that Cingular will release a high-speed product soon...
