i doubt the ram benefits or maybe 1mb but i can't see SE enabling us to have 4x times more ram free by a software trick and at the same time use a 5x times larger ram on new models...
They'll probably tighten the leak, make apps less ram hyngry, but we'll still get some "out of memory" issues with hungry apps.
I hope the SIP app isn't too much hungry as i'd like to have it running most of the time

When I try to back up lately on my desktop it fails and the report says
"Backup Status: Fail
Remarks
3rd party applications:
3rd party applications-cancelled by device"
When I backup on my laptop it works fine.

Yeah, the SE programs seem to like some PCs more than others.
Try to turn off/on your phone and check that the USB drivers are properly installed.
I'm still searching for a PC that will recognize the desk stand and allow me to update my P900 - I can connect, make backup etc., it is the update program that doesn't work. SE support told me that they had the same problem and finally found one that worked

Thanks Makbil. In my case everything else works, syncronization file transfer etc but not the backup In the past after many efforts it used to work some times.
