it actually depends on the user, what do you want in a phone and what u mostly use, you cant say that a phone is better than the other IMO, but to be honest, SE phones are very useful and has a friendly user interface, specially the W910i, W890i, and the T650i from the new phones and my own experience.

Track ID is very useful for me, something that you can only find in SE's, build quality is excellent in most of their phones, Media and Walkman interface is amazing also.

maybe u had a faulty device, W910i has a very nice slim & unique design, the headphones had a very nice sound quality, its almost as good as my iphone if u used good headphones.

the loudspeakers are not excellent in sound quality, but they are loud enough and not noisy at all.

no probs with the sound and the signal in calls at all tho, speed of menus depends on which theme you use some flash themes have these effects which makes the menus looks slow.

i will never say that i like an item because i like the brand or because i own one, but actually this device is a really nice.

T_T

My w910 screen just broke... I was going to write an SMS so I slided the phone and two seconds after backlight turned on, this horitzontal line (+ one small one milimmeters above and a bright pixel) appeared on the screen.

I didn't drop or anything the phone. I'm really angry with the folks at SonyEricsson. Never got so many problems so soon (I doesn't have six months yet) with a phone, neither the ones I had from nokia or toshiba :/

Every day I'm regretting more the day I decided to switch to SE T_T

Now, let's see If I could get this fixed (warranty) but I'm starting to think that they will clean his hands and tell this was my fault :___(

yes, you can find new ones for around 40€ (inc. shipping) on ebay.

there's only 5 screws to remove and that's what I think I'll need to do T_T

here's a howto:
