The latest software enhances performance and includes improvements such as:
1. Stability improvements when using streaming applications in a 3G network
2. Performance improvements when scrolling a web page
3. Audio improvements

That was on the SE support site dated 1st July. I got the impression that was for the differences between R1EA033 and R1EA034. Just my guess though. R1FA035 has only been out a week or so I think?

Ithink this update only brings minor changes. Nothing spectacular.

The inclusion of Google Maps 3.0, seems to be about it!

I know the acoustics have changed, different timestamp on them since the last firmware

Has anyone else noticed a bug on R1EA033 where after web browsing for a while all the favourite icons disappear (back to gold stars) and the contact pictures stop flashing up for texts/calls at the same time?

This firmware (R1EA033) was really slick and smooth when first installed but has gradually become less and less stable.

The only problem i had R1EA033 is that i could not connect to bbc iplayer as the error message i got was media server failed to connect on wifi so i hope that gets sorted,

Hi guys. Long time lurker first time poster...

Thanks to insights on this forum, I took the plunge and dived in the world of debranding, changing the original Orange UK C905 to a firmware (can't remember the actual CDA but it was listed as Carphone Warehouse or something) that includes the BBC iPlayer in "Media" and the You Tube app amongst other things.

Everything works fine, however I have noticed something missing. I used to have a Web Feeds option in "Media" but this has now disappeared. I checked the SEUS and the current software is the most up to date.

Is there anyway I can get this feature back? Does anyone know of the firmware that would have all the new functions mentioned above plus web feeds? Or is there a work around to access this

The current software I have is:

1205-9079 R1FA035

Many thanks in advance.

Omg another "improvement":

Try unplugging your charger from the fast port..

"Unplug charger from socket as well, to save energy

that IS annoying!!

Maybe we should send SE a message that says "Do your jobs properly instead of preaching, to save bugs."
