Looks like Nokia S40 is going touch this year. Will SE follow with A2/A3? Aino was partial touch.

14 - 16 more phones for the UK market this year.

More Walkman phones to come this Summer. OSE still supported - other platforms will continue to be supported.

SE needs some walkman phones, I don't really like the "entertainment unlimeted" brand, doesn't really make much sense. The satio and aino are the worst examples as the aino excells in music not camera, while satio excells in camera not music if they are serious about music they should come with the best of the cybershot and walkman which the satio or vivaz doesn't.

I might say something odd , but it is a fact

my old parents need a simple mobile which doesn't have complicated menu nor too many bouttons

would create such thing for simple customers ?

my mom is using a SAMSUNG clamshell so she can simply answer the call by opening the flip

and my dad still use the NOKIA 1100 because you use the big button in mid to answer and close

Sony-Sony Ericsson Playstation Smartphone???

Sony haven’t exactly been on a roll lately, but that could all be about to change. According to the WSJ, Sony are planning a new smartphone capable of playing downloaded PlayStation games together with a hybrid netbook/ereader/PSP to take on Apple’s iPad. Both devices will apparently work with a new online media platform that the company are tipped to launch in the US later in March 2010.

As they have before, Sony are partnering with Sony Ericsson on the design of the new smartphone, but according to “people familiar with the matter” are now taking a more active role. That, they say, is because of a growing realisation as to how central smartphones are becoming to the company’s overall strategy.

Meanwhile Sony are also looking at segment-spanning devices – like the iPad – according to CFO Nobuyuki Oneda. The company has confirmed that Senior Vice President Kunimasa Suzuki – who is responsible for Sony’s VAIO division and their Network Mobile Center, together with acting as deputy in the PlayStation and Network Products & Services divisions – is “leading product planning for new mobile devices”, though they unsurprisingly declined to outline what sort of projects may be involved.

Good stuff! It sounds like Sony has taken a fresh look at what Sony Ericsson can be capable of if it threw a bit more Sony clout behind it.

Although it sounds like it might be on the shelves for 2015 - I was rather hoping they had a PSPhone in oven already.

If the rumours of it being able to play only PS1 games are true, then that's a bit crap. PS1 games are 15 years old now, they need to at least make it support PSP games.

It's not odd, I had the same problem.
SE is easy to use, Big screen is good too.
old nokia is always good.
My dad(71) now has my old K750 and is very happy with it.
Good luck
