anyone here who experiences inaccuracy with their notification led? in 4.0.3, all notifications worked perfectly. in 4.0.4, it only works when the display is ON, then it remains blinking when it turns OFF. when i receive notifications when the display is OFF, it doesn't work at all.

It seems to be wide spread issue and not islolated to Ray (read somewhere that non-sony devices are affected as well, but I'm not 100% about that).

When did you get 4.0.4
I still have the 4.0.3.
Is there any major difference?

3 or 4 days ago, i connected my phone to the laptop then the pc companion informed me that a 4.0.4 is ready for update...so i went for it!

major difference....the led bug, hehe....kidding aside, browsing is a bit faster now but the occassional lags are still there...

i found a workaround though for the led notification bug....i installed sms pop-up, works great for sms only.

@xciter
Try Go SMS pro.
I really like it and it doesn't drain the battery as well. Great App.

Why is that sometimes the phones screen swithes on for a few seconds (for about 5 sec., (as if you had pressed the home button)) than swithes off (for about 10 sec.) it repeats this a couple of times, than keeps the screen swithed off for minutes. After a while it repeats to swith on consecutively few times.

As I observed it makes this "trick" almost every time after I restart/turn on my phone, but after a while something should happen, and than the screen remains swithed off until you press the home or on/off button. Very rarely it happens also long time after the last restart. During these screen switch on/off sessions the battery graph in the setting indicates the phone is "awake" and the "screen is on", and the battery discharge graph is much steeper on those areas, and the phone discharges faster indeed.

For this reason I don't even dare to restart my phone (which as I know would be reccommended in every few days), because as I observed this problem occures mostly after I restart/turn on my phone.

As I recall somewhere I'we read about this issue, but I can't find anything about it.

This alone makes it a pretty enticing handset, running the latest version of Android - 2.3 Gingerbread, but when you add the 8MP Exmor R camera sensor on the back with LED video light.
