Min dae, boet. You guys going anywhere for the December holidays?

We're staying put; we only close on the 19th of December and re-open on the 4th of Jan. Got a lot of plans lined up for next year already; getting a superbike and building a 'rat bike' again, building a decent-sized workshop, visiting the Isle Of Man again for the 100th year of the TT races, etc.

Half-watching the rugby at the moment too...
EDIT: Go Akona Ndungane!!!!!

We're opting to keep it local this year, boet. A few of us have hired some chalets at the beach, so we'll be there from Xmas until mid-January.

Can you flipping believe it?? How on earth did we manage to lose the game? We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet again... I can see that heads are going to roll...

@da krypsta: Haven't exactly been following the rugby...all I care about in summer is cricket and football.

So know I'm all crazy about the video calling feature on my phone...anyone with a 3G phone on Vodacom, is it just me or have you guys noticed an approximate three second delay from connecting to finally being able to view video from the other party?

Here's some pictures I took with my phone yesterday:

This one is obvious...someone in the office played with the settings of the computer and Windows started displaying in portrait mode, check how the monitor had to be flipped on it's side.

Yesterday I had drink at this new place on Greenmarket Square and this guy walks in, at first I thought it was one of the nutcases we often get in Slaapstad but no, to my relief he was actually a street performer doing mime...and he ain't got no front teeth.

This week I'm really feeling good, went back to gym after an almost three month hiatus and apart from the usual aches during the first three days my body is feeling much better.

So here i am yet again at the Carousel for another show. The chicks are going to be so hot:) We usually bring our local pool bar owners wife, everyones mother at the pool place, to these shows. Tonight the one bar lady came along again and the daughter of the other lady.

I end up at a lot of shows these days. I enjoy it, as long as it is actually good.

This ones theme is Out of this world. Will see if it is any good. The place looks alien. No pictures for you chaps unfortunately, as cameras are not allowed, and i usually respect that rule.

@ wanqa, that keyboard sounds mean! Something like that should work lovely with Reason. I used to have a cheapass midi keyboard that i could do that with but not anymore. No matter, Reason can be used in many ways.

With tonights show there is a full band. Hope they are at least cool, but hey, once again, the ladies...

I'm gonna cop some stick from a few colleagues on Monday, about that rugby result. Fortunately our sports banter and digs are light-hearted, good-humoured and never too serious. @ da brixsta, We're planning to check out Borat later this week or the next. Will check those pics out when I get back home...just finished braaing at our friends' place.

So the show was good as always:) the chicks were fine boys! Once again had a good mix of south african flavours to satisfy everyone. Now the dance floor is open, not my scene, hell, not my scene! They played a kwaito remix of an afrikaans song just now. I like, since i hate afr music, but anything that caters for the crowd is good. Must say i enjoy the fact that the multi-race thing is here. I am so used to the hard-core scene, much better, but lets face it, it is predominantly white.

The shots are rolling...oh dear:)

So borat has landed. Happy:) i have been tracking his myspace site for a while now. It is legendary! Not too fond of sachas ideas, but borat is definately my favourite of his characters. Did you chaps know, sacha is jewish? Instead of being anti jews, he is actually out to expose the anti-jews, but in a light hearted fashion:)

Oh dear, tequela just showed up(note the spelling. Proof:-) )
