and what exactly do you expect will come in 6 month that has never ever been seen before and that will make everybody drop their chin ?

@tonchy, agree 100% with you. X1 is a marketing move. Still waiting to see what SE will offer in the next "P" series.

and what about 18 month, 24 month or why not 10 years after that.

Its not like X1 is the last phone SE will ever make.

Of course it's going to be outdated in a years time. You can't buy a phone and expect it to always be the best. Hell, on Esato most members seem to update their phone every couple of months! Most manufacturers have at least a month or two gap between announcement and release so if the X1 is out in 6 months, maybe rivals will have been announce but it's not too likely they will be released BEFORE the X1. Phones take a while to develop!

@Mode

Sorry to disappoint you but i am not bitter just trying to give some a reality check on what the real situation is as opposed to this anything with an SE badge is always the best BS.

As yes i really have a dislike and lack of respect for people who up till Monday have criticised WM heavily as being horrible slow crap etc and all of a sudden are now saying just how great it is.

Look back through the Forum and you will see even though personally i am not a fan of WM i still managed to agree with Boinng on the positives of WM6 and his TyTN. So as i always said there is no perfect devcie for all only what is best for you, personally i would of rather of seen the P5 announced with a shorter time to launch but with similiarly beefed up spec's so perhaps i could of returned to UIQ and SE. Although personally that alone won't be enough for me to return to SE but that's another topic entirely.

Which after all was my favourite and most used OS right up to the UIQ3 disaster followed by SE's disgusting behaviour towards it's users. So sorry if you feel i am raining on peoples parade but 9 panels a user experience doesn't make and all those isn't it wonderful and amazing remarks are not worthy of all this excitement IMO.

I am not even that keen on Nokia's Touch UI either as am just not a Touchscreen fan any longer but that is way further ahead of what SE has shown so far although still a work in progress.

As i said I'm still hopeful the P5 may blow me away but WM and the X1 really doesn't do it for me in the slightest. How anyone can claim it is better than existing devcies and will blow everything else away at this stage is just without foundation. Sorry if reality and the truth is not what some want to hear but i call it as i see it not some fantasy version of reality.

Marc
