I have tried doing a master reset and updating, and even tried the update using a different USB cable. No success!
The last FW update I did to R1EA031 several months ago was problem free.
Anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated!
Same with mine on Adriatic R1EA031 FW.
I've tried different PC Windows XP SP2 - nothing! "Error: Update failure"

Did your phone come loaded with the R!EA031 or did you upgrade from an older FW?

I updated firmware to R1FA035 using Davinci. I backed up my contacts, messages and data using MyPhoneExplorer. The contacts restored correctly but I now get an error when restoring the messages that there arent enough slots (?). I have restored a backup with a similar number of messages and never experienced this problem.
I have tried master reset but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas or experienced this problem?

OTA doesnt work neither - saying smthg like "You have latest software version installed".

hello guys, my friend is having a problem with his k850i. yesterday we decided to update his phone because he has the 1st firmware which is lagging with it ui, he has R1C and its from china and its sim free. We check SUES but it said we have the latest firmware. R1C is the latest firmware for china k850i?? until now no updates?? or i should used XS++ to convert it to a european version??

The FW should always update from any previous version. Anyway, I had tried to update to R1EA037 when it first appeared and had the same problem we are both experiencing now. Thought it might be a problem with that particular FW version.
My OTA says the same thing: "Your phone already...."
Still looking for a solution!!!

My MMS just decided to fail!!
* Checked friends on provider in same area code ... their ok. Different phones.
* Checked Customer service, nothing wrong with billing account.
* Checked network support teir 2 - nothing wrong on billing, switch or SIM/IMSI profile. I specifically asked NOT to purge pending msgs ... I still have another 48hrs to receive.
- So I purged my MMS from my phone. NOW after some 20 times trying today ...
Support site is NOT sending MMS push settings to my phone. (not MMS, not WAP, not Internet)!!!
WHAT the FRAK!
- Oddly the phone can pickup these settings thru the config wizard.
- I've also tried the W580i, and K790i settings as THOSE TOO are carried by my provider.
- checked 2 forums nothing wrong on providers end, nobody with debranded K850i having these issues ... I'm going INSANE!
* This for me is a no brainer that I've fixed HUNDREDS of times for others! THIS IS why its driving me UP THE WALL!
* I'm down to two things. Either my wife didn't want to me to see my buddies bachelor party pics sent to my phone and made a call into favors at Rogers to have network guys pull the plug OR its my SIM gone BUST!

I used to have a problem that has the same effect before. My phone doesn't accept any MMS settings nor Internet settings. there's just this blank space under internet and mms settings.
That is when i reflashed my phone via SE center, free of charge.
