Forget it...official announcement is very very close

Interesting, my guess is Tuesday .
Pictures like these usually leaks the week before announcement...

Would be nice with some more high end surprises.

The X1 is immensely good looking in the flesh. If I were a phone I'd buy her a drink and get her number! The only thing about it that's putting me off is the fact it has no fast-port. I'm very fast-port orientated, having two leads on my desk (I know, the mini-usb is more versatile here anyway, but I already have fast-ports in place) and running the music in my car through a SE wired hands-free into a 3.5mm-tape adapter, thus having music and hands-free through the in-car stereo system. I know my setup could do with upgrading but it's all money that I'm saving for Shiho and Paris at the end of the year. Fast-ports are where it's at for me, hence, Paris all the way. It's like really going for a lady-boy only to find 'her' hole is the wrong way out.

As someone said before, it's a screen protector that's loose. Look all around the edge of the phone, it even blankets over the hang-up and pick-up keys and has that characteristic blue-ish tint (instead of the black of the Paris' body) of a screen protector.

I think it's difrent, not screen protector. But probably I am fault.

I'm satisfied with the confirmed specs...the 5MP AF camera is exactly what I want, and Paris delivers. The keyboard/touchscreen (which is now obviously 2.8") is what I need. It's a flush screen, which is the thing preventing me from getting the X1. I'm sick to death of recessed screens, touch or no touch. WiFi/GPS...check.

The unconfirmed stuff is what will drive my decision between this and the Diamond. For Paris to win out, I require a VGA resolution screen, quadband GSM/triband HSPA, and some kind of pleasing UI. It doesn't need to be uber-flashy, but it needs to be usable and look good.

Paris' battery will also be much better than the Diamond's. But Seido will create OEM-sized extended batteries for the HTC within a short while, so that disadvantage will soon be moot.

C'mon, SE.

Love the design- simple, understated and absolutely beautiful. I'm still getting the X1. Wish it (X1) was UIQ though.
