Lol still talk of 2.2+ on here when se have already said X10 isn't getting it. Se's answer if you want support is buy a new phone.
Not that I do contracts or anything but that's bad that they won't support the consumers that have bought their flagship phone for at least the length of a contract.

@SKIBBE The build.prop file is in the system directory. You need to open it with Root Explorer. Read the first post in that thread the instructions are quite clear.

Hi everyone!
now trying to update my friends X10,,, RickyD gave me brilliant advice, and I know he is on the other side of the planet!
I have now
1. rooted and installed Titanium and did a backup...
2. so onto SEUS. My PC sees the phone and after many many attempts, I finally got to see the screen with the icons for the different phones. I selected X10
And choose next, and get this screen
but then all sits and waits.
What kind of time frame should I be looking for, for something else to happen?
I can see on the X10 notifications screen ---
turn off USB storage but I am sure I just leave that alone.
I really hope to get the X10 sorted and returned tomorrow...
Any advice welcome!! In thread or by PM are both OK..
