Good morning folks, looks like it's going to be a beautiful day across the country.
Kitsune, morning boet, and welcome to the thread. We trust that you'll enjoy your stay with us, and that you'll become a regular

(lol, i sound like an airline stewardess)
Brix has a point there, although it ought to be fun to leap into the deep end of the Smartphone world. If you can pick up a second-hand smartphone on the cheap in the meantime you'd benefit from it... Once you've used a smartphone there's no going back, boet...

@ Kryptik, I had a friend point out the 530d to me a few months ago...the driver coming flying by, driving like the car model, and he said that to me...I took one look and clicked straight away...lol!
About that toilet paper, I wonder if she would do Paris Hilton for me? I all of a sudden have developed a craving to wipe my ass on Paris Hilton toilet paper...
@ Kitsune, welcome! Hope you enjoy this thread! By the way, I got the w900i, which is not on the level of the W950i, but if the 950 has half the features the 900 has, it will be a great phone...And that is a definite....Can't wait to hear how it is like...

@ Kitsune,
Welcome to the SA thread! So a fellow Buffalo City connection in our midst. I now reside in the UK, but my roots are still firmly planted in eMonti.
Dimension Data...is that in Beacon Bay, opposite the retail park? I taught a pupil back in '96, who had a sister that works/worked at Dimension Data, if memory serves me correctly, seeing it was 10 years ago. Her surname is Hunter, she'd be a blonde in her late twenties. She had a boyfriend named William, I think. Her parents stayed in Amalinda or Haven Hills.
Anywayz, what high school did you go to? My nephew finished matric in EL 2 years back, so was just wondering.
BTW, I personally don't think you need a 'stepping stone' to jump from a S55 to a W950i; yes they are leagues apart, but at the end of the day it's a smartphone with a host damn nice, funky features. Go for it! If you need any info, input etc. on

smartphones et al, feel free to ask us.
EDIT: @ da brixsta,
Thanks; I shoulda perhaps guessed that that was the most likely scenario, but wasn't sure.
That handset really had more than a passing resemblance to a T610...

So i got a P990 this week, unbranded and with the latest software around.
But I cant download Mxit..
It sucks!!
Otherwise the phones good, not a single problem yet, its quite fast to no freezes or anything.
And I cant use the internet with the flap closed, I tried all the shortcut options to, but still nothing.
