I still believe there's one more firmware to go before it goes Kapoot...
There are still more needs for improvements!

Upgraded to R1F, and it is a good firmware compared to the Rogers.
Another question, and I know this has been answered, but i cannot seem to find the answer on this thread; is there a way to change the 3-touch sensitive buttons? Media, Menu, Contact? I find it meaningless to have Contact on the right, when practically pressing Down brings up the Contacts list.
Thanks.

Well, I quickly browsed through the k750i firmware overview. There are 8 major firmware upgrades (discounting the vendor specific ones and the one solely for w800i ) this r1f is k850i's 6th. If this is it, I suggest mass emailing SonyEricsson like they did during the k750i start of life. The UI is still pretty slow when listening to music. Pink bug, though less prominent, is still there. Random reboots are still happening.

Yeah one more firmware update would be nice, fix the last few bugs.

have just put the new firmware on, noticed that when i have the HSDPA option on that i now get a HSDPA logo whereas before i got the 3G icon. If i select GSM and 3G i get 3G logo.
Can someone explain this to me? Was my HSDPA not working before?
Thanks.

99% baterry bug returns to you maybe..

Mine shows 100% all the time.

Once I had that bug, I think with R1CA037.. dunno.

There is room for improvement, but se don't care, they've made a stable firmware that does the job, not to the highest speed, but it gets there. They want to concentrate on putting their developing money into new phone firmwares.
