i live in Latvia and in our language there is some non ordinary letters in business cards... like â, ç, í etc... around 10 of them...

Looks like many websites are stating a June/July 2006 launch date for the P990i.

There is still a possibility of it being delayed to Q3/4 2006 ?

I'd say not a chance. SE would be more likely to release the phone rushed and unfinished with dodgy firmware (like most of their phones) rather than delay the release further than early summer.

Thats quite true Etaab. It will be worth the wait.
Some serious testing will be going on as we speak.

Its more than likely SE are having some problems with the new UIQ interface and getting the software they state comes with the phone working properly.

Everyone who has had their hands on the phone have all said the phone crashed ALOT, so basically all we've got to wait for is for them to make the phone more stable.

If SE delay the release into Q3 of 2006, it'll more than likely sink immediately like the Z1010 did.

2) hardware accelerated (via Philip's Nexperia PNX4008 application processor), 320 x 240 resolution MP4/3gp. Should be higher quality than W900i.
3) Yes, streaming audio is supported. Comes with A2DP BT profile and HBH-DS970 is supported.

Cheers

SE does not have a stellar track record on the P series launch date as it gets delayed from previous experience.

Right now, SE is juggling a few handphone projects and I am not sure how dedicated SE is to release the P990i in Q2 2006.

All indication from regional SE offices is that they have no idea of the launch date only a vague answer of late Q2 or early Q3 2006.

There is a strong PR campaign for the P990i and some new features have been added but at the end of the day, it means nothing to the potential customers as there is only news vacuum with the launch date and the recommended retail price.

Looks like we have to wait till June/July for the answer and there is no guarantee that it will be available in that timeframe, whether we will be happy with our new P990i or waiting like a fool again for a delay to Q3/Q4. Only time will tell.
