is anyone use imagestabilizer or use auto settings?
damn, indoor Auto-settings not very good, what can you say?

use macro or document (same thing) on close up pics. (i dont use stabilzer), then landscape on large views,(but auto works nearlly the same i guess).
let the light do your job (especially on indoor, low light).....thats pretty much everything

Thanks everyone.

Yeah I definitely don't use the image stabiliser. It is just a gimmick and you're better off without.

n which is the better software 4 excellent pics without slowing down the phone??

o n btw my software version is 1204-1733 R3BA035

p/s - nice pic guyz.. how come i neva got shots like tat?? izzit coz of my software version again??

Same thing on some low-end P&S digicams. It's not sensor shifting or optical IS. They just use a faster shutter and boost ISO. The result after in-camera noise reduction is usually worse than with the image stabiliser switched off.

Definitely try updating your firmware mate. Make sure you back up absolutely everything first though!

I used to have the same firmware as you, and to be honest I don't notice too much of a difference in camera quality with either firmware (I have the latest firmware now), but with the latest firmware, the phone is definitely quicker.
