Hope 3 update theirs soon... I flashed to the debranded one but missed the Planet 3 stuff so I'm stuck at R1DA30 or something

Hi guys. Long time lurker first time poster...

Thanks to insights on this forum, I took the plunge and dived in the world of debranding, changing the original Orange UK C905 to a firmware (can't remember the actual CDA but it was listed as Carphone Warehouse or something) that includes the BBC iPlayer in "Media" and the You Tube app amongst other things.

Everything works fine, however I have noticed something missing. I used to have a Web Feeds option in "Media" but this has now disappeared. I checked the SEUS and the current software is the most up to date.

Is there anyway I can get this feature back? Does anyone know of the firmware that would have all the new functions mentioned above plus web feeds? Or is there a work around to access this

The current software I have is:

1205-9079 R1FA035

Many thanks in advance.

I have this very same problem, and would be very grateful if anybody has a solution.

A miracle!

I managed to do the latest update via FOTA & it didn't crash my phone!

Has anyone had a problem with the new firmware R1FA035, where you can't save speed dial numbers?

Every other update I've done has automatically saved Voicemail as speed dial number 1 by default. This new firmware removed it and despite numerous attempts to resave it, it just won't happen. I even tried saving it to another number (2) and same problem. I simply can't save a speed dial number. Anyone else have this problem?

Everything is fine with mine Central Europe debranded. I have RSS channels in Media.

Try uploading this file into your phone's FS:

This is a little bit of an advanced user action so I hope you have experience in modding phones.

will this method work with my current f/w and cda? EDIT: YES, f'ing brilliant!

also i've used r1e f/w but messed up my icons and i can't find an fs for the r1e f/w anywhere, what am i missing to fix my icons being messed up and my inbox not opening? maybe a custom pack? please let me know, thanks

Hello i have just updated to R1FA035 using region code 1214-7311. My wifi is now unstable sometimes does not connect. Is this a firmware issue? Also, how do i set youtube to work via wifi.

My wi fi is also unstable. I could be next to my wireless router and have problems. I'm afraid youtube wont work through wifi connection. Has to be through the phones own connection.

I thought one of the improvements was better wifi signal. My signal seems weaker and the connection is unstable. The wifi search is not picking up any access points. Can someone help please?
