I always thought the 4 was pretty ugly compared to the first three until i held one in my hand. I now prefer the 4 and hope Apple keep that shape and solid feel to its structure for next year when hopefully the next iPhone will be available with features i need.

Domecot was giving me advice on how to jailbreak and unlock but mine said the version was too new. Hopefully I can do it now cos Orange data is stingy to say the least

yeah, if you're running iOS 4.1 the www.jailbreakme.com doesn't work
Apple always fix the flaw that allowed the previous version to be jailbroken

btw, I received my L5 Remote today. I've only done a basic design so far but it works very well!

And rightly so. The jailbreakers take advantage of security bugs that could also be exploited by those with more malicious intent.

agreed. Fortunately jailbreakers are only interested in doing good for the iphone community, rather than harm.

I've not heard of anyone taking negative advantage of such flaws and as I understand it, if you change the default root password after jailbreaking you should be right anyway(?)

Fantastic I love that device. These phones can do so much now it's mind boggling Mass is it just me or is Opera slow on iPhone 4?? I uninstalled it and found Safari better. Opera was slow and jerky

I installed Opera but thought it was naff compared to Safari and so got rid of it

Opera is good for non-smartphones but thats its limit
