Hobbs, i am looking forward to ICS as I use my SGS2 a lot especially reading emails and my battery runs down to about 29% by 5pm daily after starting my day at 8am. I am going to get that extended battery.
Good for you MRiley.

@skblakee, ICS won't take much time now. Offical stable release will be out in March or April for UK region.
For emails , battery should not drain that fast. Check if there are any hidden processes running. Have you tried this
application?

Thanks. Just installed it. Will give it a try.
Guys, what is the best (your opinions) app to prevent theft or for security of the phones?
Thanks

Unforunitely 've reverted back to Checkrom Revo HD v4 Gingerbread.
Issue? ICS Remix just isnt as fast as my Checkrom Gingerbread 2.3.6 rom.You get used to the superfast speed and anything below that just doesnt cut it.
Going to wait for the official as well or a ICS release from the Checkrom team.Knowing them and their high standards it will most probably only come once Samsung release the official ICS update and then they will start getting to work on it.
At least I got a taste of Googles latest pudding and boy is it yummy delicious.

Oh my goodness it so nice having this speed again.Checkrom rocks!
Well done to that Wes developer at XDA though for giving us the opportunity to try out a ICS build that works. ( I had no fc's,freezes or reboots).
The only thing lacking is speed and fluidity.I think working with the Samsung ICS alpha builds that were leaked can only give him so much to work with.Hes done a pretty good job.I could use it as a daily.

liquipel was big news at CES last month and I saw endless video podcasts from the show demonstrating it.
In US they are in the early stages of production and I believe you can post your phone to them and for $59 you can get it treated.
