In other news:
An unknown Sony Xperia tablet with model number TS-0020-BV has passed through Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications website recently. The tablet is speculated to be the next model of Sony Xperia Tablet Z. The codename of the tablet is found to be Castor and is estimated to get released in the second quarter of 2014. As per MIC listing, the tablet does not support mobile network.
In related to the news, according to Blog of Mobile, Sony will be launching a smartphone in 2014 featuring model number D2004/D2005. As per Sony's model number schema, the D2XXX is pointing to be closer to the low-end smartphone category.
The smartphone will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on-board, where the Sony D2004 will be released in US, and the Sony D2005 is for the international market. The smartphone is expected to get announced in the first quarter of 2014, probably at CES or at MWC.
