@500 do you have the multitouch kernel installed? If so beware the update may be a false dawn and just returning you back to the pre multitouch kernel.

@AndyD777 Is it a big hazzle to run a custom rom on the x10i ? i have never done such a thing.
and i guess there is no MT support for 2.2 custom roms
Edit did som quick searches, the MT-kernel is recomended to have and a rooted 2.1 rom (but do they mean a pre-rooted, i only have rooted with 1 click metod, and added the MT-kernel afterwards)

@AndyD777 it's a idiots guide but i cant seem to install xRecovery
The three magnifiers turns red and they show these errors
1 file exists
2 file exists
3 read only file system
(i have some optimizer installed with JIT and shit, busybox was installed with the root if i can remember correctly)
and i tried booting with constantly pressing back (if xrecovery already was installed without my knowlage)
Started with an clean update wiping everything, then rootme.tar.bz2 and than adding the MT addon again, THEN trying the guide.. will report back. the time is an issue here, i am at work

Thanks for that guide Andy, was so close to installing 2.2.1 Froyo on my X10 until i saw that even in beta3 the camcoder doesnt work, hopefuly it will in the next Beta.
Cant wait until we get Gingerbread through custom ROMs

What app do I use? In other words, what is the inbuilt file manager called?
Second question,
My set up for email only shows POP and IMAP and not exchange server
Where can I find those?

@ofiaich: you can use Astro file manager and such.
Regarding the email setup, you should go for the POP3 option.
