Can someone please explain to me why everyone keeps thinking that this is nearing the end for the k850i firmware??? Wasn't the phone just released last year? Most phones have at least a two year support life...
Most people think this, because (I think..) sony will be focusing on the C-series now the K-series are done.
I'm one of the persons who believe otherwise, im sure SE wont let us, the k850i users down, (almost) all SE phones had a much longer support life, so i dont see why the k850 wouldnt get this too.

Do not use KK.
I think the project is dead.
Luckily I used them for FW R1E, which SEUS upgraded to R1F.
I will test out the bluetooth for this firmware tonight.
As for the flash, the red eye reduction 3-flash is really slow, it will take a snapshot right after the first of three flashes.
But one bug I noticed was transferring a mp3 through BT. During transfer I disconnected my BT headset. When mp3 finished transferring I went to Save in Memory Card > Play, and NO sound. The media had no sound, any music file would not play through the speaker.
A simple restart did the trick.

I've had one restart, though I don't multitask nearly as much as some other people on here.

One thing I did after frimware update was to copy all files(including hidden) from memory card to computer then format the memory stick, then copy files/folders back onto memory card. Things seem to be abit more responsive and stable.

One reboot, earlier, when I toke a short video, and a picture, then exit from camera by pressing "end call" button.

... my conclusion--> : when C905 will be available, I will get rid of this beautifull phone ... and buy that "camera monster"

OK got a voda branded K850i, want to get the voda crap off it, so which firmware do I go for on the devinci site, is it Customized UK green western europe, or the united kingdom, luminous green western europe one. and if I need to can I put it back to voda or would it be better getting an older version and then updating via SEUS. I nhave had 5 reboots today alone, and phone is on R1EA031 at the moment but with heavy voda branding.

Suggestion:
reboot your cel every single day (as said in user manual) and I think not desirable reboots can decrease...
even when the cel reboot itself, turn it off and them reboot it correctly... because if you pay attention, you will notice that when the cel reboot by itself, it doesn't turn off completely, so you should turn it off and then turn it on...
I don't know... I'm trying everything I can...
