@ofiaich: Astro File Manager is good, also you could try File Expert, it has a couple nice features of his own...

@Skibbe That's correct you have to log in at least once to the old market before replacing it with the new version.

Any other problems let me know bud.

Also Beta3 is now available to download

@tranced? pop3 for an exchange server account?? I don't think that will work. I am remembering the Andorid exchange set up for my Nexus One and think its different.

thanks Lightspeed_x and tranced. I know about Astro etc and have the apk files on the card, but can't access the card!

Yes, I know, just download again from the market but it is my friends phone and I need her to set up GMail again to access the market!

Once I got the market running, and Astro, then I can restore the Titanium back up that I made and get her up and running again.

Hi everyone!

I do not think this needs another thread because the application is on the X10

is Moxier any good? I want to download to X10, University email, calendar and address book.

I know I can use GMail for calendar and address book, and even synch PC's Outlook with GMail,

But short question, experiences using Moxier please..

thanks!

Well ive charged myphone up 3x times now and so far all have gone to 100%
ive been bunged up with a cold and well angry birds seemed a good thing to keep me
pre-offed the annoyance of it all !

what i wanted to ask was I heard that there is 2x Screen protectors on the X10i when you get it,
OK so the first one is easy its that one with the writing on that comes off easily.

but onto that second one have glued on saying that cos I can't seem to get it of and im scared if I do it
i'll scratch the screen, is this protector ment to be taken off or have left it on the phone for some BIG reason?

tbh I wasn't aware it was a screen protector till Bonovox mentioned it to me,
and now I can see it how have placed it on badley

whats the downfalls leave it on or get it off?

what have you folk done about it?

The screen protector is supposed to be there Kerry. The pre fit one on both my black and my white x10's have been fitted perfectly. There have been people who have taken theirs off. Some have put another non SE one on and some have just left it off completely. Personally I've kept them on and will only be removing them if they start to get badly marked.

The second protectot is for shatter resistance rather than scratch resistance, meaning you could shatter the screen without it but with it you'll start to get scratches. I removed mine after about 8 months and not looked back since. It doesn't come off easily, I used a knife edge at an a very soft angle and just teased up a corner then peeled the rest. I shat myself that I might scratch the thing though.

The screen itself is scratch resistant under normal use (don't think it won't scratch in wood chipper or anything). The original protector is there to stop what happens to iPhone 4s happening I guess, which is nasty cracks if it comes with 10cm of a hard surface. You can put your own 3rd part scratch resistant screen protector over the SE one and not notice too much ill effects. The SE one is very thin and perfectly applied, I'd say only take it off if it has a few scratches on it.
