use BitComet, its a really cool bittorrent client. i use btefnet.net for tv shows and
www.isohunt.com for everything else

@blu go to some torrent site,search for the stuff u need, and u will get a .torrent file from there,open the .torrent file with a bt client and bingo, u start downloading.

ok first install a bittorrent client (i recommend bitcomet, google an ye shall find). once thats installed, u have to goto torrent websites.
2 good ones are
http://btefnet.net/ for tv shows only
http://www.isohunt.com/ for everything only
isohunt has a search feature right on top, just type in wat ur lookin for and a bunch of search results will come up. for faster downloads choose a file that has more number of Seeds(thats the number of ppl sharin the file, often denoted by 'S').
its pretty easy once u click on file and choose download torrent and then bitcomet should open up on its own and u can choose where to save file etc etc.
very easy u will get the hang of it soon and i like it far better than p2p.
