dunno if this was done before, but...

Every time you turn off your K850, you should remove the battery for a while before turning it on. Also if you remove your M2 or copy files to M2 (when your phone is on), or just when your K850 turns off itself, you should do the same. I think it's the wayto prevent the BROD."

no you are just lucky, it's random for all I know and read, my first BROD all I did was plug the phone to charge after 2 months of the same use everyday, " I dont even use it like some people here, I just use the phone 30 mins a day for a phone call"

all I did was plug the charger, lucky me

Ive been getting a huge amount of reboots and the guy in cpw tried saying it was from using a memory card that was too big, mines 4g
Keeping fingers crossed that RIF will settle things down, finally got to down load it yesterday, cant see any difference in performance.

Restarts have nothing to do with memory stick imo. your phone has something wrong with the firmware in my opinion. The 4GB card is not that big for K850's platform A200... It should also support 8GB cards aswell. 4gb and 8gb cards are supported by older DB2020 phones like K800 or 810 and they have the same filesystem. No reason why it's should too big for your phone...

The camera lens cover started to misbehave and doesn't always open. From what I read, this WAS solved in the past.

I am getting the same, and I think I had it two versions ago. I think it might be related to over-agressive power management and the cover sometimes being a little stuck. If the cover doesn't open, all I need to do is to connect my k850 to a charger or to a usb port and try to open the camera cover while connected. It has fixed the issue every time until now, and usually the cover will work perfectly for some time before getting stuck again. My only problem is if this happens away from a pc or a charger...

I can't understand because the first post is not updated...
If mwarner can't follow this thread we need a new official firmware thread...
