BUT!
Such resemblance in the specifications is not a fluke, the models are tightly connected and with the help of a handful of traits were able to position themselves differently, and the centerpiece was form-factor and pedometer.
To say that they are successors is like saying K530 is successor to Z610: they are technically connected, but have a totally different form factor.
