What a nice retarded comment

It's about the TS technology which was present on all past (and present) devices
incl. all Pseries I used, right? Not any specific device.

As for txt work: guys, if you work with sms that's fine.
But when using Word for instance you don't use predective txt,

and basically: when EDITING like selecting few letters etc. it's a hell with your fat finger
compared to stylus. Please, there's no comparison really,
believe me: I work in theatres for years and finger is cr..p in this situation.

But of course, my anger is not about convincing anybody that one should use stylus not finger,
or about pointing a "better" or "worse".

I talk about CHOICE here: somebody else decides for me what is better! So I have no choice!

So the perfect situation is to have finger friendly UI which CAN be operated by normal plastic stylus or anything you like.
That's my point.
And the reason I will stay away from - anyway great! - X10.

P.S. Doesn't HTC HD2 have the same screen?

P.S.2. X10 is a great device anyway and creates a lot of hype here.... Nice.

My guess is that the variance in start up time must come from either different SW or that the Apps are ready lying in the background

Looks like they updated the keyboard (got new skin and right and left arrow keys) and added a skin to the calendar app. Thank god they haven't removed the week view, like HTC does....

They already gave the answer for that. For debugging purposes logs everything on the back ground which causes most of the lag.

Look at the speed of timescape - it looks like they are really working hard to make it smooth

Yea, Timescape looks very smooth and nice. Mediascape is smooth too, but there's more work to be done on it. Maybe SE has to decrease the inertia's movement in the Timescape.

Edit - another thing I saw is that SE has changed the colour of the menu's highlight:
