I guess the Droid DNA's 1080p screen is RGB and does not have the WhiteMagic technology for a RGBW arrangement. This is another plus for the Yuga/Odin despite not having the title of first Full HD smartphone.
And if you think about it, the Yuga/Odin will have the highest subpixel density of anything out there within the next year.

I think that's what happened this year as well. Xperia T/TX/V came out in Q4 and at CES there will be new models. That doesn't mean they will have a short lifespan. They will continue to sell throughout most of 2013.
