i'm excited. if XJ is saying these things then it will be a sight to behold. i've never really been disappointed with how sony phones look and their software has gotten a lot better in recent years (XZP being the speed king of 2017 is proof of that). However, I hope they do improve on their weaknesses and the nagging points that reviewers and non-fanboys consistently dig at (e.g., bezel size, camera lowlight perf, OIS, etc).
It's unlikely i will upgrade but seeing an amazing device at MWC this year will give me high hopes for what's to come when I am ready to upgrade again.

Sunlight legibility is not the best of the lot
And Sony should definitely go with ois for their next generation camera with a second camera for bokeh
Also i would like to see better battery capacity for the xz1 successor, some 3300 mah+
And they should fix phone restarts on sim removal other major flagships dont have that problem
Usually sony don't deliver anything that we expect
So i am not putting my hopes up

I think Sony trades loudness for better audio quality.

XZ1c has contrast ratio near 3800 if I am not wrong.
It is as high as A3 ( 2016 or 2017).
XZP dont even score 3000.
Maybe it is due 4K.
Looks like it is harder to push brightness/contrast when ppi is that high.
