You pick up this parts your own or buy as whole package?
Is AMD processor good? I've never use AMD. All my notebooks so far is Pentium. Even my current one also Pentium 4 (2.2GHz) with 512MB.

Yeah AMD is good. Many of my friends use it. It is better and cheaper than Intel. It shines when it comes to multitasking.
