Thanks lor for the detailed information on the MPx 220. Very nice looking phone indeed!
Sorry for mix up btw the price of MPx and MPx 220.

Not that familiar with Moto phones that's why.
So when will the phone be launched in Malaysia? The MPx 220 I mean.

well, mpx220? don't put too big hope la because it is using the same Windows Mobile Smartphone 2003, if xphone bluetooth didn't support bluetooth properly, big chance that apply to mpx220. They are microsoft mar, you think they will let motorola touch the windows coding part ar? Motorola only build the hardware according to the microsoft hardware reference and all the software part will control by microsoft. miniSD card? i wonder how long they will take to reach our shore with reasonable pricing.
just my 2 cents

First of all,
The xphone's bluetooth support was screwed because HTC didn't make it a high priority, as you well know. Even java was omitted from the phone. So that's a no brainer.
Secondly, mini SDs are the way to go at the moment for smaller smartphones. If you don't understand this point, then you can just stick to whatever phone you're using with your 1mb free space.
Thirdly, I wouldn't start insulting the mobile 2003 second edition. The operating system is getting faster and better each release. And I think all problems will be ironed out by 2004. The xphone was a superb phone, cept for it's little bluetooth problems. Fast, and a ton of other features to boot. Tested mpx and c500 units reveal superb bluetooth integration. So I wouldn't count on future units that support the mobile/smartphone software to have any serious problems with it. It'll only get better.
And sanjeev, that's up to you. Phone looks great to me. They already have leaflets of this phone up. That means it's comin out. Still waiting for it's official announcement from moto.

Dude, yeah i know ... I only said that last pic looked gay because of the blueish + greenish yellowish stripe background...

The phone has a great design IMO. Its one of the things that i like about it. As I've told U, I've always liked MOTO clamshell designs

I just hope the

is superb la...

sanj,
i know which one u talking about. i have been following close since the CeBit 2004/2005 out that time with Motorola product. i guess i posted some of the model too. as for me, i do not blindly follow products. coz i am more concern about value and function too.
instead i have tested thier V600 myself. and yet, i am waitting for the MPx220 as well to get to choose between a

P900, a MPx220 or a Nokia symbian 7.0 phone.
Microsoft came to my mind because i need some of the application inside which is so similar to my specialty. Symbian is nice too. but sure the the crappy palm for now!
