Why would Sony do a nexus device? Nexus devices are for those who fail at presenting decent software and simply want to commoditize their products. No manufacturer with a skin with actual useful features instead of just gimmicks would create a nexus device. Sony rejected the chance to make a nexus device when they were new to android, why would they make one now?

Samsung with huge sum of money buy in time for promoting their new television with sort-of gimmick gesture control or something, and following new program launch earlier this week "The Apprentice Asia" which Sony TV Network Asia is co-producer, what would you like to guess what is official smartphone in the show?

So it seems Samsung is opting for the qualcomm S800 for the new note 3 which makes sense, probably a better SoC than their current exynos one. Good that Sony opted for the S800 for the phablet as well.
