The S500 and K800 don't run the A200 software. The K850 was the first handset to use the new platform. The other phones have smoother performance because they have the processing power to run A100 effectively.
Since the K850 has very similar hardware to the K800 (probably a cost-saving measure on chips, similar to situation with the UIQ smartphones) the new platform does not run as well as it should, or indeed as it will when SE upgrade the processing power of their phones (something the C905 will hopefully deliver on).
Using the W890 side-by-side with the K850 there is such a difference in speed from the W890!

My C902 will be here in an hour and a half, had it brought back from Hong Kong, will post up comparisons between the k850i and the newer phone.

So I got bored earlier today and decided to update the firmware on my K850 (Rogers), since I haven't done so since I bought the phone in March. So reading here, the latest firmware is R1FA035.
So using SEUS, I tried to update to R1F, and SEUS said that my current firmware (R1DC001) is the latest and most up-to-date version.
Not only can I not find my firmware on your list, according to the alphabetical release names, I'm pretty far behind in the updates.
Any insight?

I don't know about anyone else but I am getting more reboots on r1fa035 than i ever did on r1ea037, always seems to happen when i get a text message (thankfully it doesn't reboot every time i get a text, but when it does reboot it happens right after i receive a text).
I stopped using the laser precision theme and turned off the vibrating feedback for the touch buttons to see if that helps.

Well, I've gone back to my old 512 MB M2 card. Reformatted it in the phone, so I hope that this should cure my reboots. I'm still running R1FA035, but it seems I'm getting reboots as often as once a day now. That's not acceptable in my book.
Anyway, I'm thinking about renewing my subscription and then getting a C902 or maybe a G900 with it. Haven't made up my mind yet.
