After the update my calendar keep on chrashing. Do I have to re-flash it again? A simple off and on doesn't help.

Not sure if it's crappy media scape or what but my album art keeps getting all mixed up. If I put music onto the memory card all the wrong album art appears on the wrong albums & some of it keeps vanishing

I had this when I had my first x10 Black. I am sure it's crappy Media Scrape

sorry scape
I had the same issue for a long time but then found out if you use Sonyericsson Media Go to sync your music onto X10 the album art is there to stay.

Or even better just buy Poweramp. Beats the hell out of the standard media player

My update hasn't gone too well. My phone was 100% charged when I went to sleep, then 6 hours later when the alarm went off it's at 29%.
If you did not do a clean install, I'll recommend you do a factory reset or a reinstall with no data preservation.

I'm using the stock android music player and stock android gallery. Both are easier to use and faster (lightening quick) than mediascape. They're already in the phone but SE have hidden their shortcuts from the menu. To gain access to the music player use Music Mod app by Brian Stocker on the market. There's a similar one for Gallery3d too but forgot what it's called.

moogoo, I think you're right, there are a couple ways to get the stock gallery and music player to work I know xda have their own versions of these shortcuts and there's one or two on the market. The Music Mod by Eliot Stocker (not Brian as i said before, don't know why I typed Brian) should be available for you try before you get the update though. I like this mod in particular as it also gives you the options of various widgets which aren't present in the stock app. All in all it's pretty good.
