i dont know how to use scenes....
and when i try to take photos on a medium light the pic with flash shows dark area(showing nothing...) around the flash affected area.. any guys help me....(sorry for my english!)

Use twilight portrait when shooting dark areas and when you want to see the rest of the background. Activate the flash, press the shutter and hold till it displays "saving". By using twilight portrait the shutter actually opens longer for more light to enter the lens. So you still have to stay still although there is flash.
