@alexlt
I think you can't use the LEDs as a torch by a softwareprogram yet. I didn't come across such an option in the menu. You can use is as torch in two ways:
- Start the cam-app and activate the flash. By holding the shutter button half-pressed, the LEDs go on.
- Enter the servicemenu (>*
I think it wouldn't be to difficult for a SW developer to develop a torch-app (but only if enough people ask for it after purchaseing the P700i...)

Let me clarify this guys... thats 72.8 after a 'Close All' via Task Manager...
Therefore its lost about 5mb, so the Memory leaks still exist as per the current devices, this sounds alot but I think its probably similar to the current devices in that about 5mb is lost relatively quickly, then it slows to about a MB a day or so...
...but as Adhnk said earlier, this isnt going be an issue as there is enough overall RAM to sustain this fault, an uncalled for reboot every month at worse maybe?!?!?!
I wonder what will happen with the current devices then? How much can they be improved?!

do you have a uiq 3 device? if yes, do this:shut down you phone. power it up. the first thing to do after entering pin(if you have one), tap on more and status.note the memory, and then enter the main menu(notice it taken a lot longer than usual) and then take a look at the memory again. you notice it's lower. why? because main menu is like an app. it needs memory but it won't show up in task manager since entering main menu is one of the most often thing you do when you use the phone and therefor its better to stay hidden
am i right?
maybe there are a few other app like this which is taking memory away.
i admit main menu can't take 5mb,but now you know where a part of ram is going

For those with RAM concern, i can honestly say the P700i in my hands seems very quick opening programs, closing programs, camera functions well and so far no issues. Speed is something
have concentrated on and have done well i think.

@antichrist
I agree and these apps are often displayed in smp!
On the P990 the apps are
Main Menu
Activity Menu
Phone
Connections Manager
