After all the problems with the K700 i think SE would have sorted out the S700

What K700i problems ? mines fine.

Of course it will be stereo, why on earth would SE release a phone thats not stereo ? only Nokia do such silly things as use mono sound output.

The K700i and S700 are pretty much the same phone, except the odd differences like the S700 has a better screen and better camera. Really you buy what you can afford.

Bad news. The new whitepaper is released. The S700 DOESN'T support Duo Pro. Only Duo up to 128 MB.

No big deal. The S700 doesnt need more than 128mb anyway. You can store 500 1.3mp size images per 128mb stick.

Unless of course people want to use the S700 as an iPod replacement...

October maybe, how much do you think it will cost - By christmas?
I am concerned about the size compaired to the K700i, seems huge!

Just got an eNewsletter from Vodafone UK saying that they'll be offering the phone from October. It's on the Voda website now under Coming Soon - which tends to be quite a reliable source.
I just hope it's not gonna be a Live! branded phone. My hunch is that they won't have had time mess with the software if it's launching by the end of October...

Thats what it said in the old white paper too (the one from May). With other words old news.
