I had battery issues with the latest firmware too. For me it was a sleep issue, the phone appeared to stop going to sleep after a while.
I noticed several times my battery % going down 2% or more per hour while doing nothing and checking battery usage I noticed high amounts of time spent not sleeping.
I reverted back to the 2nd newest baseband and firmwaRe and its been working perfectly , as it did before the latest update.

I too had battery life problem but what I recommend is to, at startup, run task killer or similar app and kill all. This solved my problem.

Cant say ive got a problem with the battery as it seems to last the same as before. However im experiencing a probem where wifi wont reconnect after coming off sleep mode and also it seems that the old problem with wifi is also back where it would cut out when the gsm/3g signal dropped.

Thanks to Ricky D for that simple tutorial

I flashed with Omnius before to UK generic totally oblivious to the fact that it is one of the slowest cda to get an update. Flashed to latest global generic and I found that it is slightly faster at everything, but I thought it's psychological since it is after all a clean sweep of the phone. But then after running quadrant benchmark and scoring 532 outperforming nexus one and desire did I realize it had actually been optimized. I rarely have any reason to give any credit to se for anything these days but this update really is to me, a testimony of their commitment. Eventhough there are issues that haven't been addressed, they responded to our call for MT among others which I think would have been virtually impossible a couple of years back so kudos, and thanks for making my device fast enough for me to stick to the official stuff

+1! Yup, totally agree. Seems that

really did respond well to our requests. I'm dreaming that they'll do another update down the track that improves the speed of Timescape to the point of useability, and they'll add a useable flash option to the camera...that'd be nice!

After the update my calendar keep on chrashing. Do I have to re-flash it again? A simple off and on doesn't help.
I had the same issue with calendar, re-flash using SEUS sorted it out. It updated with the software version selected in the flash tool.

Hi
I had a lot of random shut downs / restarts before this upgrade but ever since, I have only had one (been running the new update now for a week).
I still get the occasional Application unexpected shutdown issue.
What I do find strange though, is the ability now to 'Multi-Touch'. I thought this was a hardware issue and not a software issue, but now I can pinch zoom in and out. Where has this come from ?
