No your wrong dude! I updated my Telstra branded K850i from R1DA038 to R1FA035 today & all my data remained on my handset nothing got erased.

SEUS never replaces information on K850. Using Davinci etc is a different story.

would the C902 be a good solution instead of getting a new k850? (sent back the old one for the 3rd time so they gave me 2 choices)

If this is correct, SE may not have lost their minds completely after all....

I got my K850i back last night recovered from 2nd BROD.
R1EA037 is installed in it. Should i update to the R1F....?
i'm really annoyed with that bloody BROD.

i havn't checked the new SEUS. If it can flash the FS as well then i think there's nothing to fear about BROD. but im not sure... any suggestion for me?

The amount of trouble everyone's having with this phone is shocking.
I've had four replacements, each phone lasting 2 weeks.

Sorry for you, but i reflashed my phone today with R1FA035 and it re-erased everything. It did a complete flash.
Different behaviour on different phones / customisation maybe.

OK I know I renounced getting another phone.

But I've said MONTHS ago that no matter my choice in phones, I keep ALWAYS coming back to .

I know why now. There are just some small things that you miss, and at the last leg of the life of the phone; you find out something VERY cool and love it to death.

* RSS Feeds & Ticker!

For those ppl who's providers (like AT&T or Rogers Wireless) that have Proxy Enabled in the data settings .... the following quote is from HoFo where a fellow member that was just as fustrated helped me out. I'm posting here to give back to others .
I had a problem with AT&T's proxy munging RSS feed urls. I just created a new internet setting that did not have the proxy, and it fixed the problem. Any chance it is something similar?
Dude this WORKED!!!!!
Actually instead of creating a new data acount, I just turned off the proxy on Rogers APN: internet.com . Worked flawlessly. Didn't know just how COOL the RSS Feeds Ticker on the home screen looked!

SWEET!
