Just for the record, the K600 does NOT sound like a constipated rabbit when used. Yet...

And the Z800 ain't that bad, either...

Nokia lover...

No, it actually doesn't make any sound while being held. The rather unique back cover closing mechanism may explain that. The front also doesn't creak at all. Great build quality. Didn't expect that, truth be told, but I'm just grateful - my P910 is a just a tiny little bit on the creaking side...

Well I held my cousin's K750i next to mine, and YES his is solid, no squeaks at all. I guess I'm just unlucky. The few of us who do have squeaky units are NOT making it up because we have too much free time or anything. We are also not using the phones in a manner in which it is not supposed to be used. Sheesh.... Don't assume people are dumb.

I do realize that there are morons out there who are perfectionists that expect their phones to be 102% perfect, and that all moving/non moving parts on their phones must be manufactured with a 0.000001mm tolerance and fit perfectly. IMO these people have waaaaay tooo much free time and should be shot.

Well, my k750i squeaking is bad enough to be noticed by friends who have played around with my phone. The worst part is I didn't tell them about it and had hoped they wouldn't notice it... No such luck there...
They noticed the creaking part around the "c" button too...

Oh well, I've decided to just ignore it and live with it. There are far more important things in life to worry about. Besides, how many people can actually boast that their phone can make the sound of a constipated rabbit?
At least now if I see a constipated rabbit I'll know that its constipated and would be able to help it ...
Crap SE quality control....

Hi guys, just sent this email to SE, and am patiently awaiting a response:

"Good afternoon,

I am writing this email purely to make you aware of the problems i have encountered with my K750i, or should i say my five K750i's.

Since upgrading on Orange in August, i have had to have four replacements for my original handset. My main concern is that all faults have been different, and although i really think the handset and it's capabilities are fantastic, the build quality and firmware is extremely poor.

As we speak, i am beginning to experience further problems with my current fifth handset, and find my patience running out. Orange UK have advised that there may be a possibility of changing my K750i for another handset from different manufacturer. I do not believe there is any handset on the market that comes close to the K750i for features, however, reliability is an important issue, and if those features affect it's stability, then there really is no point in me regarding them as factors in my choice of handset, and i may have to consider another manufacturer after all should i continue to be let down by my Sony Ericsson.

I'm am confident you are aware of the problems associated with the K750i, and can see that various SEUS firmware upgrades are currently being provided via your website. It still does not detract from the fact that after one week, my handset feels a year old.

I would appreciate some feedback regarding the above issues, and await your further advices.

Best regards,

***********"

Creaking is driving me NUTS.....i really have no idea what their response will be, but will be sure to post it here.

I know, cannot believe all bar one have been so shoddy. Typically, the one that was pretty sound, was f**ked firmware wise, despite updates.

I don't think Vanquish is making a scene. He aired his grievance as he was entitled to, same as you or anybody else could. As for the girlfriend/exam issue, he was being facetious. If you think he was being utterly serious, read between the lines. My question- why do so many ppl have the same problem? This message was posted from a Nokia
