Anyone here use one of these?
Altec Lansing inMotion speakers with ipod dock, they dont compare to the bose ones nor the new Apple HiFi, but they do give a good output.

Just borrewed my friends 5G 60GB iPod, however it's formatted for mac and i'm on windows and need to take some files off the HDD, anyway I can get round this without re-formatting it?

Right click the video and click 'convert selection for ipod' and its supposed to convert the video so it can play on your ipod. It converts some but some of mine dont have sound

i have se k750i with a 1gb memory card in it i have 180 songs all mp3 and only have 180mb left but i have vids and pics aswell on the card.
i might get and ipod 60gb , but one question can i transfer songs from my pc to my ipod or do ipods only take music from itunes , my bday is 31st august anyone know how much a 60gb ipod would be ?
i would put about 300 songs on it but i have imtoo dvd to mp4 converer so would put like 5 dvds on it but one dvd only takes up 212mb each.

Yes you can, you need to use iTunes or any other alternative software, you can't drag and drop in windows directly on the harddrive (maybe with a plugin that I'm unaware).

On my 40gb ipod I got 32gb used from 3800 mp3's ... so why buying 60gb if you will only use like 15% of the space ? 30gb seems more appropraite for your usage, unless you will store many things on it.
