i've tried it on my z520 able to use file manager and delete protected files...i'm having one problem though, it doesnt show the themes folder in the file manager...is anyone else having this problem? how do i fix it?

Dude, the official opera mini works with airtelwap.com APN. I ve been using it for the past 4 months on that apn. Pm me with ur phone model and i ll tell ya how to set it up:)

(The same problem occorued with Opera mobile after a few changes of the http-header it worked fine)

This one's even bigger.....You can make an enire folder of pics, audio or whatever look completely empty! Here's how-
Go into the file manager, choose the folder off pics you want to try it on(make a new one for testing), press more then attributes on that folder, untick readable and move back up to hidden(important), prees more then ok. After the user prompts minimise opere with 9 and go into the folder you just edited using your phones manager, it'll say no files in this folder!!!
Retick readable to reverse the process, don't forget to move up to hidden here as well.

i tried to use this to test if the files are hidden. it works, but after some time (like an hour after...) the files shows up again. why is it that? thanks!

So you ARE able to view files in File Manager? WTF. I wonder what I did incorrectly...

Can u tell me how do I resume download in this browser mod? I was downloadin a file on my W800i when accidentally I pressed the BACK button & the page displayed on the browser was the page where the link was present & I had pressed 1 on. But try as I may I cudnt get to the screen that was showing the download progress bar. I had selected RESUME INTERRUPTED option before I started downloading the file. If I try to press 1 on the link again it starts a new download, askin if I want to re-write a file that exists with the same (this is the semi-downloaded file)

The Download Resume WORKED!!! I dont know why it didnt work the first thou I almost did all the same things I do now! Whatever, must have missed something!
Secondly,
Is there a way to contact the author or least give him suggestions for future improvements. I really need some sort of download queue so I can BATCH my downloads overnite. That wud make it a plausible n elegant download manager & put an end to all my download troubles.

The above problem sound like a network issue. Have you checked you have the correct gprs account selected in java settins? I dunno with Nokias.
Downloads won't work with the k700, only the k750 and onwards really.
The link is right there in mini opera to contact the author. It's the one above Bookmarks on the homepage, with a little browsing you'll find his ICQ number. Dunno if he speaks English though? As I said, it's all Russian in there.
Oh yeah, a bug i've noticed is I lose ALL my bookmarks whenever I launch another Java game! Just as well I exported them though. Is this the same for anyone else?
