So, after making a few and watching my themes being rated over at M9 I realized that when you make themes it is important to have thick skin, because people will criticize your work. Looking at the rates my Apple OS X themes got, I first was a bit pissed off, since I did spend some amount of time making it. And to be honest, the biggest reason for me making themes is because no one else is.
In any case, looking back at the thoughts I got on the OS X theme I realized that I have to redo the whole theme. Thanks to the help from RoughJay here I have been able to ad some more features that is not in the theme creator. So I have been working on this for a couple of days. Not having an Apple computer myself, I do hope that I did catch the real essence of the OS this time. This theme is best used with the OS X icons in the start menu. Take a look and tell me what you think. I will post this for download on Mobile9 in a few hours.
@ mass: Glad you liked it. Thought some tones were pretty nice.

One place is from the Sony Ericsson developer site. Someone posted the link earlier in this thread. Since I'm feeling so nice today, I'll post it again.

Glad to be of help - I notice you've got the icon highlight see through.
From the previews (which are never as good as the phone) that's a pretty good looking theme. One thing I did notice - the return button looks a little ragged around the edge. Could probably do with an alpha blended outline to smooth it off a bit.
Keep up the good work. Hopefully I'll be getting this phone some time next week, and will try to add my own contributions to the theme collection.

Thanks mate. Good point and it is unfortunatlly the same in the phone. How do I do a "alpha blended outline"?

I assume that the return button is saved as a PNG, with a transparent background. Basically you want an anti-aliased edge to the button image. How you do this (now you've already got the button) depends upon the software you're using.
If I was using Photoshop, I might do something along the lines of
- Select the button
- From the select menu (I think), feather the selection by 1 or 2 pixels
- Using the arrow keys on the keyboard, move the selection to the left one pixel and back to the right by a pixel
This should blur the edge of the button. It might be that you have to copy this selection, clear the entire image and paste the selection back. This will remove the hard edged part of the image that would otherwise be left behind.
Hope this is right - I'm taking this from memory and it's been a while since I used photoshop.

@RogueJay
Thanks bro. I have a look at it this weekend.

This Windows XP theme took some time. Uploaded now on M9.

I'm disappointed just how little customisation is allowed in a SE Skin. More like colour + wallpaper than a real skin.
I hope you feal that my two latest ones are a bit more than wallpaper and colours.

I do indeed, its EXCELLENT (There, you even get capitals ).
I've changed the 'dock' bit of the background to be a light off-white as that works better with my OSX apps icons.
Looking forward to further enhancements

Don't suppose you could take a look at the text when on a phone call. It sort of looks like blurred white on black - perhaps its white with a white outline. Doesn't look right to me!
Really like the theme though
