Can somebody please explain the disadvantages of debranding a Vodafone k800i.

I understand this issue with the buttons but I can easily replace these using eBay.

Somebody mentioned that mobile tv won't work and two java ceritificated will be lost.

What do these java certificates do and can somebody please verifiy that mobile tv won't work. Thanks.

hey guys..

i really really need some advice about this.

I have a 3 contract but my old nokia died on me ... so i got a k800i from my mate that was non-three.

I have put my sim card in and the phone works but i cant find the Planet3 icon to get my free "internet" and to check my minutes and spend and stuff.

Will this new firmware stuff help me? Im a real novice so any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks for any help
