I got mine about a year back for just over £50. I'll find you a link of a similar one as there have been some new models since then.
http://search.ebay.co.uk/sear[....]le=SiRF+Star+III+bluetooth+GPS
read up but at the time the SiRF Star III was the best chipset to get. Mine works great in the UK and my dad took it through France and Italy and worked perfectly for him.
This is like the one I have. GlobalSat BT-338

@fatreg: Thank you!
Just trying to get an idea before purchasing TT6. I'm unable to see the generated key because 'keygen.exe' closes itself right after I enter the device ID and hit 'enter'. How do I get to see the generated key?

your best off running CMD and getting to get to the app and let it run that way..
ill post some better instructions in a bit..
1)make a folder in C:\\ to make it easier, name it keygen.
2)Put your .mid file in there and the TT6_kg_4_C4Pda.exe in there.
3)Now open command prompt "Start-Programs-Accessories-command prompt
4)Then type as follows cd (space) C:\\ (Press Enter)
5)now you will have C:\\> in command prompt.
6)Then type: cd (space) keygen (Press Enter) You will then see c:\\keygen>
7) Then type : TT6_kg_4_C4Pda.exe (space) Guam.mid (Press Enter).

then put in your code ID: (CAPS ON) and then (Press Enter).
9) you get your activation code.

so if you load a new map, there is a new activation required?
does the device ID change?

This maybe a silly question but, isn't there a .sis install file? Rather then copying files directly onto the memory card?

Thank you again, fatreg!
With these steps it works like a charm. I only had to rename the .mid to 'Guam.mid' in order to get it to work, but that was pretty obvious to me.
