With SE K800i u can use this http://www.newmobile.nl/eur/en/news.php?news_id=dc3336

With N73 u cannot do it. N73 is made for older people.

Doesnt the N71, 73 ,91, 93 have the same symbian as E61?

No slowness on my n73....even when opening the cam (which i heard is reall slow) isn't slow...

As for some earlier points made by rockgali...there may be bug's, but...you can update firmware via nokia support.

Like i said a while ago...i had the k800i...then got the n73...i made the right choice.

If I would be a fan boy I would say K800 is better and I just said that I didnt like symbian and that the camera is better on K800 and I have read some reviews that prove me right

Isn't the K800i that cell with the 'hissing' noise problem when playing mp3's?

I don't give a sh!t about Nokia. Actually I consider Nokia the bigger 'demon' of the 2. Nokia made more money out of me in the last decade then all the other cell companies together. Now what I like is Symbian. And yes I will defend symbian because I think is the best cell OS. Unfortunately Nokia with the S60 seem to have a winning number. SE use to be good in symbian cells too with the 'real' P-series. I just hope they will post out the P990i soon. (a nice symbian cell indeed if it were not for the 'hang ups') You see I program C since school days (25+ years now) and later learned C++ which incidentaly is Symbian's 'native' language. I know and respect the fact that most people differentiate cellphones according to manufacturers but you must understand - there are people out there which use other criteria. I am really sorry that for now Nokia has a nice symbian lineup. To an outsider it does indeed look like I defend Nokia :-( I hope this helps to clarify what I am doing here :D.

I think people have to forget a bit the logo on the back of K800 and analyse it for what it really is. Like I said before if you compare N73 to K800 in terms of technology n73 wins BY FAR. N73 is a pda phone with FAST software, great media functions, good video and great cam. K800 is a k750 (old platform) with better screen, slower menu, better cam and downgraded audio. N73 is an all-in-one high tech phone, is not interested in making this kind of phone anymore. K800 is just about the cam, even the video is left aside. If you want a phone for cam and mp3s for example, w800 does a better job than k800. K800 is a 'regular' phone made 'special' by marketing and a cybershot logo, thats all. N73 is a special phone because of the techs implemented on it, u may not even use them all but they are there, in your hand, available whenever u may need them. N73 doesnt have a competitor in īs product line. It would be too expensive for to produce such phone and the market is owned by nokia already. Its more provitable for to make mid-end phones with a marketing twist to attract more buyers (like k800, a small upgrade with worst audio or W850,little better software and awful camera).
Some people may like phones and may buy them just because they are but N73 is BETTER than K800. Enough with subjective comparisons trying to upgrade k800.
Personal taste counts when choosing a phone but its like i said before, some people actually like robbie williams, what can u do about that???

@SloopJohn

I tink you are right about tech the N73 wins by far but there are many of us who simply dont need symbian and touchscreen...for example I ham M600 but I did not use symbian and did not need it...and I did not like the fact tha for some things using the touch screen was a MUST and couldnt do everything with the keyboard

So it is just a matter of needs....and for what do you want the phone
