@mamber, i did wonder if he was simply on holiday and will have a heart attack when he comes back online and sees this thread!
Yes, there's no point in me going to a small claims court, too small an amount but I meant it would be good for those who have lost expensive phones or a lot of money if this does all turn out to be a scam.
If so, this will be the second time I will have been scammed and lost money on Esato. Despite what people say about Ebay, I have not lost a PENNY on there, had one problem with someone not sending a phone but got my money back via Paypal.
Obviously, Laffen and co. don't have the resources for buyer/seller protection, and indeed I don't expect that in a phone forum. I'm sure it says somewhere as well that any trades are done at our own risk, which is also fair.
I think in the future when dealing with newer members/traders I am going to insist they send the goods first before i send payment, seems the only way to avoid being scammed. Many noobs won't like this, but that's going to be the way I operate with unknown quantities from now onwards.

Didn't mean you mate, just a coin of phrase so to speak.
What I mean is don't bother for small amounts under £50 it will probably cost you more in time and hassle.
Sad thing about trading on forums is 99% of the time it comes down to trust, regardless of the amount of feedback you may have. There is no easy answer unless you are prepared to join forums that have a fee or recommendations from other members for membership. Scammers don't like paying for joining, and they certainly don't get recommendations from others.
Worth thinking about mods, make it a secure site?

Can I just say he is NOT on holiday. He has been texting tmag yesterday, but failed to reply to the most important question.
He says he has not had the chance to go on line yesterday as he was out all day but he will be going on when he gets in. This is last night.
So he either went on and read what was posted and failed to respond, or is just lying through his teeth.
Seriously, this bloke is p***ing me right off and if he doesnt reply to something soon, he is gonna wish he had more than s**t for brains.
